Umma University is the first Islamic Faith-Based University in Kenya to be Chartered. The philosophy of the University is based on Islamic principles, tenets and values with emphasis on total development of the individual talent, moral rectitude, hard work and competitiveness to encourage excellence in all spheres of life. It is dedicated to the furtherance of social transformation based on the Islamic principles while promoting peaceful co-existence between people of different faiths, race, ethnicity and gender.
