Umma University Scholarships
Umma University scholarships are available to students from low-income families. Applications will be available only to students who are admitted, pay 75% of the first semester fees and report on the start of the academic year. In the academic year 2014/20145, the university has a number of scholarships position available. Application for scholarship is a rigorous and competitive process. The applications will be assessed on merit and demonstration of need. Regional balancing, gender balancing and other factors also come to play in the awarding of Umma University Scholarships.
Academic scholarships are available automatically to students who have the highest academic performance in any cohort in any academic year. There are 3 academic scholarships available to each year of study which will automatically go to the students scoring the best overall marks that year. No application is required as the process is automatic and students have to maintain their performance to retain academic scholarships.
